• Q: How to replace the washer reservoir on 2005 Chevrolet Venture?

  A: Before replacing the washer solvent container you must drain the liquid and remove the battery. Use pliers to take off the wiper motor electrical harness from its connection to the container and put it aside. Then remove the front washer pump electrical connector and if the vehicle is equipped detach the rear washer pump electrical connector. Before lifting out the washer solvent container you must disconnect both pump hoses then remove the screws to take out the container from the right inner fender area. Put the washer solvent container into the right inner fender space and attach screws by tightening them to 6 n.m (53 lb in). Reattach the rear washer pump hose first if present and connect the front washer pump hose after that before joining the rear and front washer pump power connections. Install the wiper motor electrical harness to its container then place the battery back in position and fill the washer solvent space with recommended fluid.
