How to replace the rear Door Latch Assembly on 2006 Buick LaCrosse?

In order to install the rear door lock, take off the water deflector and rear door trim panel. Unscrew the handle lock-rod on the outside and then take off the screws holding the lock. Removethe lock and cable, unscrew the electrical connector and screw in the new lock. Installation of the trim panel should be reinstated with the components attached properly first.
