How to replace the Engine Control Module (ECM) on 2006 Buick LaCrosse?

In order to change the Engine Control Module (ECM), make sure the ignition is turned off. Record the percentage of engine oil life with the scan tool. Unplug the battery, take off the ECM and do not touch connector pins. Removal and installation of parts, reconnect battery and programming the ECM.
