How to replace the canister purge valves on 2006 Buick Rendezvous?

Initially disconnect the engine harness electrical connector from the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge valve then separate the evap canister purge pipe from the valve. First unfasten the evap canister purge valve bolt followed by valve plus insulator removal from its housing. At the Intake Manifold position the evap canister purge valve along with its insulator and tighten the evap canister purge valve bolt to 12 n.m (106 lb in) following the instructions in the fastener notice. The installation process ends with connecting the evap canister purge pipe to the valve and reinstalling the engine harness electrical connector back to the evap canister purge valve.
