How to replace the Exhaust Pipe (RPO LX9) on 2006 Buick Rendezvous?

A technician must start with removing the thermostat bypass pipe before relocating the radiator inlet hose clamp at the Thermostat Housing to proceed with radiator inlet hose removal from the Thermostat Housing. Install replacement of the exhaust crossover pipe begins with taking out the heat shield securing bolts before removing the heat shield then proceeding to take off the exhaust crossover pipe nuts and pipe. Install the exhaust crossover pipe according to the fastener notice in service precautions before tightening the exhaust crossover pipe nuts to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). Installing the exhaust crossover pipe heat shield and its bolts requires a torque setting of 10 nm which is equivalent to 89 inch lbs. After returning the radiator inlet hose to attach on the Thermostat Housing you must place the radiator inlet hose clamp and reinstall the thermostat bypass pipe.
