The first step for hanger assembly replacement begins with supporting and raising the vehicle. First uninstall the Catalytic Converter hanger insulator attached to the Catalytic Converter before unthreading and removing the hanger bolts and hanger assembly. Begin installation of the Catalytic Converter hanger according to the fastener notice in service precautions. Initiate bolt installation of the Catalytic Converter hanger followed by bolt tightening to 45 nm (33 ft. Lbs.). After lowering the vehicle you should reinstall the Catalytic Converter hanger insulator onto the converter.
