  A: Start by opening your Liftgate to replace the tail lamp assembly with back up while adding or replacing sidemarker stop and turn signal bulbs. Remove the tail lamp screws before moving forward. Pull the tail lamp forward to liberate it from the rear body panel retainers before taking off its wiring harness connector. First depress the locking tab then turn the sockets counterclockwise to free them from the tail lamp. If changing bulbs then remove them from their sockets. You should start your installation process by putting the bulbs into the tail lamp and side marker lamp sockets before locking them to the tail lamp through clockwise rotation until the locking tab reaches its complete position. Press the tail lamp into its seating position until it reaches full depth while the electrical connector connects to the wiring harness. To finish the installation secure the tail lamp with screws at 2 N.m (18 lb in) then close the liftgate.
