How to replace the multifunction turn signal switch on 2006 Buick Rendezvous?

To start replacing the multifunction Turn Signal Switch you must first turn off sir protection and remove the steering column trim pieces. Undo the electrical connectors from the multifunction switch and disconnect the wiring harness from the steering column harness strap. Unplug the multifunction switch connectors from the steering column wires then unscrew and take out the multifunction switch. Take out the sir coil from its position on the steering column shaft. The multifunction switch goes on top of the steering column tilt head. Lock the Turn Signal Switch electronic contact with the horn ring, then tighten the multifunction switch screws to 3 nm (26 inch lbs.). Plug both electrical wires from the multifunction switch into the bulkhead port and fit the multifunction switch connector onto the sir coil terminal. Secure the wire harness straps to the steering column by installing new attachments and connect the wire harness into its designated placing piece. Put the sir coil into position on the Steering Shaft then return the upper and lower trim covers before turning sir functionality on.
