Apply no oil lubrication on the crankshaft rear oil seal or seal installer (J 34686) equipment as this practice may lead to damage of the sealing lip after protective sleeve removal. Before installation use a lint-free cloth to clean the crankshaft surface for any burrs or sharp edges before removing them with crocus cloth. Use seal installer (J 34686) by inserting the new crankshaft rear oil seal into its mandrel until the tool bumps against its collar. Position the (J 34686) at the crankshaft's rear section before tightening the screws manually to maintain square alignment. Using the (J 34686) tighten the wing nut until the tool comes to full contact and then remove the tool to reattach the engine Flywheel.
