A proper replacement of the valve Rocker Arm and push rod requires initial removal of valve Rocker Arm covers for separate component storage before installation. Proceed with Rocker Arm bolt removal and then remove both parts from each other along with the pushrods. Stick the pushrods into their previous positions but first apply gm p/n 1052356 protective coating or a similar alternative to the ends. Accurate length measurement of 5 3/4 inches is required for intake pushrods displaying yellow stripes and exhaust pushrods at 6 inches with green stripes for proper installation into the lifter. Proceed by relowering the rocker arms before attaching the bolts in their appropriate locations according to the provided fastener procedure and torquing them to 32 nm (24 ft. Lbs.). Complete the procedure by installing the valve rocker covers.
