First apply clean engine oil to the new oil seal before using the Covers Aligner and Seal Installer (J 35468) to position the crankshaft front oil seal with the engine front cover as well as the crankshaft. Insert the crankshaft front oil seal by using the Cover Aligner and Seal Installer (J 35468) and a suitable fitting tool before reattaching the crankshaft balancer.
