Service of the ignition coil requires engine harness connector disconnection from the assembly followed by stud removal from fuel injector sight shields and bolt removal from the ignition coil assembly to proceed with assembly removal. To change an individual ignition coil, disconnect the coil's electrical connector before removing its bolt to remove the coil hardware. Installation requires the ignition coil assembly to be secured through the ignition coil assembly bolts which need to be tightened to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
