  A: The front object alarm sensor replacement starts with dismantling the front bumper fascia followed by disconnecting the electrical connection to the front object sensor. The front object sensor housing requires removal through lifting its locking tabs before using the spring to uncouple it from the housing and disengaging the housing tabs for extraction. Push the front object sensor bezel all the way through until it reaches the fascia end. When installing the new front object sensor paint the surface avoiding any repainting of existing sensors while using a suitable paint thickness gage for non-ferrous metals to verify the paint layer is below 6 mils. Push the keyhole of the rear object sensor against the key and gently work to press the component flush against the fascia surface. Install the housing to its cutouts on the bezel from the rear side of the fascia then connect the spring to the housing while positioning the spring keys at the bottom and top edges of the housing.
