  A: The first step for an Air Suspension Compressor replacement begins with raising the vehicle. Make sure you clean all components and their surroundings before you separate the Air Hose from both the intake Air Filter and Air Suspension Compressor. This step helps stop dirt from contaminating the alc system. First disconnect the air tube from the air dryer before removing both the Air Suspension Compressor bracket bolt and harness tie that holds the air tube. Begin with the Air Suspension Compressor connector then take off the intake Air Filter followed by removal of the connector from the Air Suspension Compressor. First disconnect the vehicle from its two nuts and two bolts and Air Suspension Compressor assembly before sliding the Air Suspension Compressor connector off its connector anchor and removing two bolts with the heat shield from the Air Suspension Compressor bracket. Three bolts attach the heat shield to the Air Suspension Compressor bracket but leave the fourth bolt empty until you connect the air tube before tightening each bolt to 4 nm (35 lb in).
