    Q:
How to Properly Install an Air Suspension Compressor on Buick Lucerne? Posted by Customer
    A:
Starting the replacement of the Air Suspension Compressor requires vehicle elevation with proper support. Before removing the Air Hose from the Air Suspension Compressor or intake Air Filter please clean the Air Hose connections to stop foreign matter from accessing the alc system. First disconnect the air dryer air tube and then remove the bracket's bolt and harness tie along with the tube from the Air Suspension Compressor bracket. Disconnect the Air Suspension Compressor connector while also taking out the intake Air Filter. Remove the vehicle's two nuts and bolt and Air Suspension Compressor assembly before sliding the Air Suspension Compressor connector from its connector anchor. Start by first disassembling the Air Suspension Compressor bracket by both removing its heat shield and its two securing bolts. Finish by unbolting the three attachments holding the Air Suspension Compressor assembly to its bracket position. Separate the air dryer from the Air Suspension Compressor while removing air hoses from two different compressor openings and finally remove the two screws and two brackets from the compressor assembly. Begin installation by attaching the two brackets onto the Air Suspension Compressor with the two screws tightened to 7 nm (62 inch lbs.). The Air Hose needs to connect to the Air Suspension Compressor at two points followed by mounting the air dryer onto the compressor. Secure the Air Suspension Compressor assembly to the bracket using three bolts that must be tightened to 3 nm (26 inch lbs.). The heat shield should go onto the Air Suspension Compressor bracket with two bolts in place while keeping the third bolt free for future connection between the air tube. Mount the Air Suspension Compressor assembly onto the vehicle by first connecting its connector to the connector anchor and then tightening the bolt to 9 nm (80 inch lbs.) and the nuts to 9 nm (80 inch lbs.). The harness connector must attach to the Air Suspension Compressor connector while you replace the intake Air Filter and connect the air tube to the air dryer. Use the bolt to connect the air tube to the Air Suspension Compressor bracket before tightening the bolts to 4 nm (35 inch lbs.). After starting the engine wait roughly 45 seconds for the alc system to run the arc which adds residual pressure to the air adjustable shock absorbers before lowering the vehicle.

    Q:
How to replace the Air Suspension Compressor on Buick Lucerne? Posted by Customer
    A:
Vehicle elevation and support must happen before beginning work to install a new Air Suspension Compressor. Clean all Air Hose components alongside Air Suspension Compressor areas and filter elements to stop contamination from entering. Start by disconnecting the air tube from the air dryer followed by bolting and harnessing tie release with the air tube from the Air Suspension Compressor bracket and removing the intake Air Filter. The vehicle harness must disconnect from the Air Suspension Compressor connector before removing two nuts, the bolt and Air Suspension Compressor assembly. To detach the Air Suspension Compressor assembly from its bracket you must slide the Air Suspension Compressor connector off its anchor then remove both bolts and the heat shield from the compressor bracket followed by removing three bolts from the assembly. Separate the air dryer and Air Hose from the Air Suspension Compressor at two points before removing the two screws which fasten the two brackets onto the Air Suspension Compressor. To install the air dryer begin by screwing two 7 n.m (62 lb in) bolts into the Air Suspension Compressor brackets before connecting the Air Hose to both points and placing the air dryer on the compressor. Install the Air Suspension Compressor bracket first before mounting it to its position using three bolts set to 3 n.m (26 lb in) torque before fastening the heat shield onto the bracket using two bolts with one bolt remaining loose. The Air Suspension Compressor installation requires users to connect its connector to the connector anchor while securing the assembly to the vehicle with two nuts and a bolt tightened at 9 n.m (80 lb in). Finally attach the harness to the compressor connector. Reinstall the intake Air Filter and join the air tube to the air dryer before using the bolt to attach the harness tie securely to the Air Suspension Compressor bracket with three bolt torques set at 4 n.m (35 lb in). Before beginning your drive, engage the ignition and allow the alc system a 45-second period to perform the arc until shock absorbers achieve their proper residual pressure level then proceed with vehicle lowering.
