The air suspension system requires depressurization before work starts without disconnecting any air supply pipes. Inspect air hose locations before removal from the intake Air Filter and Air Suspension Compressor assembly then clean all elements to protect the ecas (Electronically Controlled Air Suspension) system. Release both right and left air tubes from control solenoids before removing electrical connectors from the compressor assembly. First support the Air Suspension Compressor assembly while you remove its frame-mounted intake filter then take out the mounting bolts and nuts. Remove the complete Air Suspension Compressor assembly from the motor vehicle. Place the Air Suspension Compressor assembly back into the vehicle while following with installation of the Air Suspension Compressor assembly nuts and bolts that require 9 nm (80 lb in) torque setting. Install the Air Suspension Compressor filter to the frame while connecting electrical connectors and attaching right and left air tubes to control solenoids.
