2010 Buick Lucerne Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the Air Suspension Compressor on 2010 Buick Lucerne?
A: A process must begin with vehicle elevation before starting repairs. Cleaning both components as well as their surrounding space should occur before you disconnect the hose either from the intake Air Filter or the air compressor to keep the alc system clean of dirt and foreign matter. Disconnect the air tube from the air dryer while removing the bolt and the harness tie with the air tube from the air compressor bracket. The process begins by taking away the intake Air Filter then unplug the air compressor connector using the vehicle harness. Take out the two air compressor assembly nuts, two bolts, and air compressor assembly components from the vehicle body before detaching the air compressor connector from its anchor point. Start by taking out the air compressor bracket's heat shield along with its two supporting bolts. Seal the heat shield to the air compressor bracket with 3 bolts but hold off on the fourth bolt until after air tube installation while tightening each bolt to 4 nm torque value (35 lb in). Place the air compressor connector to the connector anchor and add the air compressor assembly to the vehicle while tightening its 2 nuts with 2 bolts until they reach 9 nm (80 lb in). Hook the harness connector to the air compressor connector while installing the intake Air Filter before you connect the air tube to the air dryer. Secure the air tube and harness tie to the air compressor bracket through a bolt that requires 4 nm (35 lb in) torque. The vehicle needs 45 seconds with the ignition on before going for a drive to allow the shock absorbers enough time to accumulate pressure before lowering the vehicle down.
