How to replace the canister purge valves on 2006 Cadillac SRX?

The first step to replace the EVAPORATIVE EMISSION (EVAP) CANISTER PURGE SOLENOID VALVE is to turn the ignition off. The first step is to disconnect the purge line from the purge valve solenoid, and after that, take off the electrical connector. Follow by plugging, release the purge line from the side of the purge valve solenoid connected to the manifold and take out the solenoid from its bracket. Begin by securing the purge valve solenoid to the bracket, and afterward, put back the purge line and connector from the manifold side of the solenoid. In the last step, join the purge line to the purge valve solenoid.
