The front exhaust hanger can be pried loose from the rear suspension hanger rod while you add suitable lubricant to the exhaust pipe hanger rod that will help with the hanger removal. Apply soapy solution to the front exhaust hanger rod and its socket throughout the exhaust pipe hanger rod. The application of lubrication onto the tail pipe hanger rod and body support bracket rod makes it easier to remove the tail pipe hanger while separating it from both components.
