How to replace the right exhaust manifold (LC3) on 2006 Cadillac STS?

You need to start the replacement of the right Exhaust Manifold by disconnecting the pigtail from the heated Oxygen Sensor wiring harness connector then detach the exhaust system and the right Exhaust Manifold heat shield. The heated Oxygen Sensor can be removed first and then the right Exhaust Manifold bolts and nuts can be taken off. Discard the removed bolts. During the procedure remove Exhaust Manifold studs first then extract the right Exhaust Manifold together with its gasket but always discard the gasket. Thoroughly wash the right Exhaust Manifold then inspect it carefully. You should begin installation by placing a new Exhaust Manifold Gasket across the Cylinder Head studs, then position the right Exhaust Manifold with its gasket on top of the right Cylinder Head followed by installing the right Exhaust Manifold studs and nuts along with new bolts. The technician should torque the Exhaust Manifold studs to 6 nm before tightening the nuts to 25 nm and the bolts to 25 nm. Reinstall and tension the heated Oxygen Sensor before fitting the Exhaust Manifold heat shield and ensuring proper connection of the exhaust system. The last step involves lowering the vehicle before connecting the heated Oxygen Sensor pigtail to its wiring harness connector.
