Before starting the process remove the Transmission Assembly then use the Flywheel turner (Snap-On A144A) to stop the engine from rotating for the removal of engine Flywheel bolts and the engine Flywheel itself. Check the Flywheel condition and perform an inspection before adding it to the vehicle. The installation process for the engine Flywheel requires gm p/n 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) or equivalent sealant on the engine Flywheel bolts that should be tightened by hand first. Use the Flywheel turner (Snap-On A144A) to stop engine rotation before you torque engine Flywheel bolts to 15 nm (11 ft. Lbs.) during step one and then proceed to step two by angling the torque angle meter (J 45059) to reach an additional 50°. Finally, install the Transmission Assembly.
