How to replace the Heater Core on 2006 Cadillac STS?

Begin by removing the hvac module and follow it with heater hose bracket screw and heater hose bracket removal. After that you can slide out the Heater Core from the hvac module. Gently pull out the Heater Core from its position within the hvac module. Installation requires insertion of the new Heater Core into the hvac module followed by heater hose bracket placement and securement with the heater hose bracket screw. Tighten the screws to 1 n.m (9 lb in) as described in service precautions. Finally, reinstall the hvac module.
