  A: To remove the old power steering Rack And Pinion, you must first install the steering column anti-rotation pin (J42640) to the steering column. Lift and support the vehicle, take off both front tires and wheels, then the front air deflector. Remove the lower pinch bolt on the intermediate shaft to reduce the risk of the intermediate shaft from the Rack And Pinion stub shaft getting damaged. Reconnect the power steering hoses on the power steering Rack And Pinion and secure the retaining bolt to 23 nm (17 ft. Lbs.). Remove the drain pan, install the outer tie rod to the steering knuckles, tighten nuts to 70 nm (52 ft.
