The first step for changing rear fender splash shield involves removing both the tire and wheel. Start by taking out the screws which fasten front and rear fender splash shields then remove push-in retainers to access the same shields. Take out the fender splash shield after performing the previously mentioned steps. Install the new fender splash shield by first placing it into position and afterward securing it with the push-in retainers at both front and rear panel locations. Following the requirements of the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions is essential. Screw installation should happen to fasten the front and rear fender splash shield while torquing screws at 2 N.m (18 lb in). The wheel and tire must be installed after all procedures are complete.
