  A: Begin the Hood Latch replacement by opening the hood then removing the front section of air cleaner assembly. Drain the hood release cable as well as the secondary Hood Latch cable from the Hood Latch. Unscrew the bolts which attach the Hood Latch to the latch support before you can remove the latch from its position. You should mount the Hood Latch onto the latch support by using the bolts which need tightening to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Install the hood release cable and the secondary latch cable onto their respective positions on the latch.
