How to replace the Knock Sensor (KS) 2 on 2006 Chevrolet Avalanche 2500?

Begin Engine Block/Knock Sensor (KS) 2 replacement by draining out the cooling system fluid. Unplug the knock sensor's electrical connector before you take out the knock sensor. When installing the new knock sensor make sure to adjust its torque at 20 N.m (15 lb ft) as stated in Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Next connect the knock sensor electrical connector after you complete filling the cooling system/engine block.
