How to Replace the Vehicle Speed Sensor in a BW 4481-NR3 Transfer Case on 2006 Chevrolet Avalanche 2500?

Precautions for vehicle lifting safety should be followed before raising the vehicle to change the Transfer Case Speed Sensor (BW 4481-NR3).Disconnect the speed sensor electrical connector then detach the speed sensor and its O-ring. Discard the old O-ring. For new speed sensor installation you should use an entirely fresh O-ring and torque the sensor to 17 Nm or 13 ft. lbs. Finally, both lower the vehicle and reattach the speed sensor electrical connector.
