2006 Chevrolet Aveo Clutch Master Cylinder Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the Clutch Master Cylinder on 2006 Chevrolet Aveo?
A: Prior to removing the reservoir tank hose, remove clutch/brake fluid from reservoir tank. First you pull out the locking clip, after that push rod fixing pin and push rod. Then, remove the hose clamp of the master cylinder and the master cylinder hose, as well as retrieve the master cylinder pipe and the Clutch Master Cylinder nut to remove the Clutch Master Cylinder. For the installation, install your Clutch Master Cylinder and its nuts, torquing them together to 22 nm (16 ft. Lbs.). Intersperse the master cylinder pipe, attach the master cylinder hose, and tighten the hose clamp on the master cylinder. Then install the fix pin of the push rod and push rod before installing the locking clip. Bleed the air from the system and reposition the clutch pedal if necessary. Lastly, add clutch/brake fluid into the reservoir until it reaches the max mark.
