How to replace the battery sensor on 2006 Chevrolet HHR?

Begin replacement of the battery current sensor by disconnecting the negative Battery Cable. Unstick the tape protecting the battery current sensor from the negative Battery Cable before disengaging the sensor from the cable. Feed the ground Battery Cable through the battery current sensor and secure it by wrapping electrical tape around the sensor. Make sure to put the battery current sensor on the negative Battery Cable correctly before replacing the cable.
