How to replace the battery sensor on Chevrolet HHR?

Before working on the battery current sensor you must unplug the battery negative cable then remove tape holding sensor to this wire. Remove the battery current sensor by taking it out of the negative Battery Cable. Pass the ground side of the negative Battery Cable through the battery current sensor before placing it in the suitable position and direction. Affix the battery current sensor to the negative Battery Cable with electrical tape before you return the cable to its correct position.
