How to replace the battery sensor on 2008 Chevrolet HHR?

Begin your replacement of the battery current sensor by disconnecting the negative terminal from the battery. Unfasten the tape that holds the battery current sensor to the negative Battery Cable and disconnect the sensor from the cable. Install the new battery current sensor when you feed its ground end against the negative Battery Cable then position it where it was earlier. Secure the sensor on the negative Battery Cable with electrical tape and replace the cable into the battery.
