How to replace the oil pump on 2006 Chevrolet Malibu?

Take off the case side cover, unconnect connectors on solenoid valves, TFP switch and temperature sensor, and leave the retaining bolt. Take out two pump bolts, and raise the oil pump out of the valve body. Install pump, screwdriver, connectors, cover, scan tool reset, TAP and tighten bolts, replace cover, and connectors, reinstall pump, and relearn may affect shifting.
