    Q:
How to Service and Repair the Oil Pump on Buick Century? Posted by Customer
    A:
Starting by removing the case side cover helps you reach the Oil Pump. Use a flat-bladed tool to detach electrical connectors from valves 31 5a/b/322/334/440 plus the tfp manual position switch 395 and temperature sensor 391 but keep the bolt 205 intact for holding the Oil Pump in place. Separate the Oil Pump bolts 206 and 207 from the Valve Body and withdraw the Oil Pump 200 from its housing 300. Reassemble the Oil Pump onto Valve Body (300) then bolt it in place using m6 x 1.0 bolts (206, 207). Tighten bolt (207) to 12 nm (106 inch lbs.) and bolt (206) to 16 nm (12 ft. Lbs.). Reconnect all electrical connections between the solenoid valves 31 5a, 31 5b, 322, 334, 440 plus the tfp manual position switch (395) and temperature sensor (391). Put the case side cover back in place afterwards.

    Q:
How to replace the oil pump on Buick Century? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start replacing the oil pump only after you take off the case side cover. You should disconnect the electrical plugs from the solenoid valves (315A, 315B, 322, 334, and 440) TFP manual switch (395) and temperature sensor (391) using a flat tool. Keep bolt 205 in place and pull out bolts 206 and 207 to get oil pump (200) from valve body (300). Reinstall the oil pump (200) into the valve body (300) and fasten the M6 X 1.0 X 85 bolts (207) at 12 Nm (106 inch lbs.) and M6 X 1.0 X 95 bolts (206) at 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.). Reattach all electrical connectors to the solenoid valves and control elements including 315A, 315B, 322, 334, and 440 as well as the TFP manual valve position switch (395) and temperature sensor (391). Then put back the case side cover.

    Q:
How to replace the oil pump and reset the transmission adaptive pressure (TAP) values on Buick Rendezvous? Posted by Customer
    A:
Unscrew the case side cover without detaching its three bolts to access the Oil Pump. Disconnect Oil Pump bolts 205-207 before taking out the Oil Pump unit from the Valve Body assembly 300. Place the Oil Pump (200) back on the Valve Body (300) while following the fastener notice. Fasten the Oil Pump bolts (205-207) using a torque of 12 n.m (106 lb in) on the two m6 x 1.0 x 85 fasteners and 12 n.m (106 lb in) on the m6 x 1.0 x 95 fastener. Replace the case side cover during service and use a scan tool to reset the transmission adaptive pressure values which will erase stored information from all control modules. Accompanying settings changes may need to be reprogrammed at this time.

How to replace the oil pump on Chevrolet Impala? Posted by Customer
    A:
You should start the Oil Pump replacement by taking off the case side cover. Once you have the Oil Pump ready, put it back into the Valve Body (300) according to the fastener notice in service precautions. Put the Oil Pump bolts (206, 207) in place and tighten them; use 12 nm (106 inch lbs.) for the 207 bolts and 16 nm (12 ft. Lbs.) for the connect the electrical wiring to the solenoid valves (315A, 315B, 322, 334, and 440), the tfp manual valve position switch (395), and the temperature sensor (391), before putting on the case side cover.
