    Q:
How to replace the oil pump on Buick Terraza? Posted by Customer
    A:
Unbolt the case side cover first without touching the three bolts that maintain the Oil Pump in place. Lift off the Oil Pump bolts located at numbers 205-207 before moving the Oil Pump component 200 from the Valve Body part 300. Regularly check the Oil Pump for cleanliness during your process. Place the Oil Pump (200) once again into Valve Body (300) then install Oil Pump bolts (205-207). Use an 8 n.m torque setting when you screw in the m6 x 1.0 x 20 bolt and set m6 x 1.0 x 85 bolt and m6 x 1.0 x 95 bolt torques to 12 n.m (106 lb in) and 16 n.m (11 lb ft). Reassemble the final case side part.

    Q:
How to replace the oil pump on Chevrolet Malibu? Posted by Customer
    A:
Remove the case side cover before you replace the Oil Pump. With a flat-bladed tool, disconnect the electric connectors from the solenoid valves 315a, 315b, 322, 334, and 440, along with the tfp manual valve position switch 395 and the temperature sensor 391, and make sure you don't stir or take out bolt 205. After that, take out the Oil Pump bolts (206, 207) and take the Oil Pump (200) off the Valve Body (300) to look at it. Afterwards, put the Oil Pump (200) back onto the Valve Body (300) and tighten both Oil Pump bolts, with after you have reconnected the electrical connectors to the solenoid valves (315A, 315B, 322, 334, and 440), the tfp manual valve position switch (395), and the temperature sensor (391), set the case side cover onto the transmission. It is a good idea to reset the transmission adaptive pressure (TAP) information, because using a scan tool erases saved values in all the cells and makes the ecm, pcm, or tcm relearn tap values.

    Q:
How to replace the oil pump in the 4T65-E automatic transmission on Buick Lucerne? Posted by Customer
    A:
The replacement process of the Oil Pump in a 4t65-e automatic transmission begins with case side cover removal. Strategically remove Oil Pump bolts (230, 231) subsequent to their removal of the Oil Pump (200) from Valve Body (300). You should thoroughly inspect then clean the Oil Pump before reinstalling it. Install the Oil Pump (200) onto the Valve Body (300) afterward mount the Oil Pump bolts (230, 231). Install nine (231) m6 x 1.0 x 85 bolts by applying 12 nm (106 lb in) torque and two (230) m6 x 1.0 x 95 bolts should get 16 nm (12 lb ft). The process of resetting transmission adaptive pressure (TAP) values through the use of a scan tool will delete every learned value in all cells yet Engine Control Module (ECM), powertrain control module (PCM), or transmission control module (TCM) must relearn these tap values which could impact transmission performance. As the last step replace the case side cover.
