How to replace the Multifunction Turn Signal Switch Housing on 2006 Chevrolet Malibu?

You need to disable the sir system before working on the multifunction Turn Signal Switch housing. Unplug the electric connections of the multifunction switches, and take out the sir coil component from the system. Remove the multifunction switch housing unit from inside the Steering Column. Locate the multifunction switch housing on top of the Steering Column before connecting its electrical components to the replacement switches. Return the sir coil to its place and turn on the supplemental air bag system.
