How to replace the Air Bag Sensor for the side impact on 2006 Chevrolet SSR?

In order to remove inflatable restraint side impact sensor, turn off the SIR system. Do not hit the sensor, and make sure that it is properly fastened. Take the trim panel of the front door off and access the sensor. Remove the electrical connector, wipe the mounting area and attach the new sensor and reassemble. Lastly, make the SIR system possible.
