How to replace the fan blade in a gasoline engine on 2006 GMC Sierra 3500?

In a gasoline engine, the upper fan shroud should be removed to replace the fan blade. Disassemble the fan clutch and hub nut with using the J 46406 tool. Take off the fan clutch bolts and detach it to the fan blade. Install a new fan assembly which is balanced and reinstall the lower fan shroud.
