Next is disconnect the body harness connector from the battery negative cable, and unbolt the cable secured to the engine block and then lower the vehicle to remove the cable from the engine. For the installation, locate the new battery negative cable to the engine and then install engine bolt with a tightening force of 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Then, bolt in the bolt that held the cable to the side rail, nut to 36 n.m (27 lb ft). Connect the body harness connector to the battery negative cable, and the last step will be to connect the battery negative cable. Always use the replacement cables that correspond to type, diameter and length of the original cables and always route the cable through in the same way that the original cable did.
