To remove the battery negative cable, you can first disconnect the battery negative cable. It is necessary to pull out the bolt used for anchoring the negative Battery Cable to the side rail, and then pull out the body harness connector from the negative Battery Cable. Next, lower the vehicle and remove the bolt of the battery negative cable from the engine block and the battery negative cable from the engine. For installation, set the battery negative cable to the engine and then fix Battery Cable negative to the engine bolt, tightening it to 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Mount the bolt securing the battery negative cable to the side rail and turn nut to 36n.m (27lb ft) and then do the body harness connector to the battery negative cable and lastly loop the battery negative cable. Always employ replacement cables to be of the type, diameter, and length as the original cables and also accommodation the replacement cable in the way the original one was routed.
