    A: You will start replacement of the Mass Air Flow Sensor/intake Air Temperature Sensor (MAF/IAT) by eliminating the intake manifold cover and disconnecting the engine harness electrical connector from the Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct after loosening its clamps at the Throttle Body and at the Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor location. The following step involves loosening Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor bolts before extracting the sensor from its place. Place the new Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor properly then fasten it with bolts which must be tightened to 4 n.m (35 lb in). Attach the air cleaner outlet duct to its proper positions by securing its clamp first at the Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor followed by the Throttle Body with a torque of 4 n.m (35 lb in). The last step involves connecting the Mass Air Flow Sensor/iat sensor harness electrical connector to its position before installing and placing the intake manifold cover. Handling of the Mass Air Flow Sensor requires special care to protect sensing elements and the screen.
