  A: To do away with the Timing Chain and sprocket, start by removing the engine front cover. Get as close as possible to match the timing marks on the sprockets, loose the Timing Chain dampener bolt remove Timing Chain dampener. Then, extract the camshaft sprocket bolt; the camshaft sprocket and also the Timing Chain. Cache the camshaft sprocket bolt to 100 n.m (74 lb ft) and an additional 90 degrees using the torque angle meter (J 45059) then install the Timing Chain dampener and tighten the bolt to 22 n.m (16 lb ft).
