How to replace the Brake Proportioning Valve on 2007 Buick Rendezvous?

Before the process start you need to disconnect the brake pipes from both the proportion valve and the master cylinder on their respective end points. To remove the proportion valve you should first take off the mounting bracket nuts and then lift off the valve from its bracket. Set the proportion valve directly on the bracket and fasten it with retaining nuts before tightening them to 10 N.m (84 lb in). Connect the master cylinder brake pipes to the proportion valve and tighten both types of fittings to proper torque values as specified. Finally, bleed the brake system.
