  A: The process to replace the front park brake cable starts by taking off the left-side instrument panel insulator together with the left-side door sill plate after which you unfold the carpet to access the area. Lift the vehicle while providing support under it and unscrew the park brake cable equalizer nut followed by a separation of the left side cable from the equalizer. Proceed with disconnection of the park brake cable end from the connector followed by removal of the cable from equalizer and guides.
