You should begin repairs by lifting and positioning the vehicle. First take out the tire and wheel before disconnecting the Wheel Speed Sensor electrical connector and its bracket mounting. After raising your car, take off its wheel drive shaft nut and brake rotor. Put the front hub spindle remover tool (part J 28733-B) to push out the wheel drive shaft from the wheel bearing/hub unit. Fastener replacement is essential to prevent any degradation in vehicle control that can harm both the driver and passenger. Replacing damaged wheel bearing/hub bolts brings in a new wheel drive shaft outer seal (boot) that needs undamaged status. Put in the new wheel bearing/hub and fasten it with brand new wheel bearing/hub bolts while applying 130 n.m (96 lb ft) torque. Put back the brake rotor then torque the wheel drive shaft nut while checking the connector clip fits its bracket correctly. Secure the Wheel Speed Sensor electrical connector back onto the holder and join it. Put on the tire and wheel after lowering your vehicle.
