  A: Before installing the Fan Shroud inspect for abnormal noises or vibrations from the engine compartment and eliminate all foreign materials from the cooling fan blades. Start the process by disconnecting the cooling fan assembly as well as the shroud by turning the cooling fan nuts clockwise. You must detach the cooling fans from the shroud by removing their nuts. Disconnect the electric wires of the Fan Motor then unscrew the Fan Motor screws before removing the fan motors from their housing on the cooling Fan Shroud. Heat shields should also be taken off from the cooling Fan Shroud area. Heat shields should be mounted first to the cooling Fan Shroud before installing the fan motors. First secure the fan motors by inserting screws which need to be tightened to 6 n.m (53 lb in). Finally attach the electrical connectors of the cooling fan motors.
