How to replace the engine oil and oil filter on 2007 Buick Rendezvous?

To change the engine oil and Oil Filter, first raise and support the vehicle. Install a drain pan under the oil pan Drain Plug and remove the same. Allow oil to drain thoroughly. After draining, install the oil pan Drain Plug and torque it to 26 n.m (19 lb ft ). Then, set up the drain pan below the Oil Filter and remove it, letting the remaining oil drain off. Apply a layer of clean engine oil to lubricate the new Oil Filter gasket before you tighten the Oil Filter to 30 n.m (22 lb ft). Lower the vehicle and oil the engine up to the mark. Lastly, start the engine and check for leaks.
