How to replace the rear side door power window switch on 2007 Buick Rendezvous?

The first step when replacing Rendezvous rear side door window switch is to protect the trim panel on which the flat-bladed tool will enter so damage can be prevented. Start with a small flat-bladed tool to extract the power window switch mounting plate by inserting it between the plate and its retainer at the back edge. After lifting the rear of the switch plate disconnect the electrical connector before taking out the power window switch from the mounting plate. The power window switch fits on the mounting plate while you connect its electrical connector. Press down on the mounting plate rear while inserting its front end into the trim panel for complete seating.
