How to replace the liftgate hinge on 2007 Buick Terraza?

Detaching the headliner and liftgate is the first step to replace the liftgate hinge. Apply a grease pencil to show the liftgate hinge position on the vehicle. Remove the hinge retaining nuts from the vehicle roof before taking off the hinge. Set the hinge in place at the marks you made on the vehicle body before installing the retaining nuts then fastening the liftgate hinge nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft). As the last step put back the headliner and liftgate in place.
