2007 Buick Terraza Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to Replace a Power Sliding Door Lock Actuator on 2007 Buick Terraza?
A: Start the Power Sliding Door Lock Actuator replacement process by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel fuse block to shut off both LH and RH power sliding door modules low current logic power supply. The effect of this action renders these modules non-functional. Begin by taking out the sliding door inner trim panel and both the sliding door water deflector as well as the sliding door lock module. The replacement process starts by removing rivets from the power sliding door latch release actuator and its components and the separate actuator unstructure process before disconnecting the actuator rod from the assembly. Install the actuator by connecting the rod to its component before mounting it on the door frame then fastening the rivets with proper security. Install the actuator onto the lock rod before putting back the sliding door lock module together with the water deflector and inner trim panel. The PSD 15A fuse power should be restored to the instrument panel fuse block for both PSDM operation but both units need to learn the complete open and close positions for the PSD.
