2007 Buick Terraza Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to replace the front Door Latch Assembly on 2007 Buick Terraza?
A: The first step to replace the front door latch requires disabling the power sliding door system through PSD 15A fuse removal from the instrument panel fuse block until both LH and RH power sliding door modules lose their low current logic power. You must start by taking out the sliding door inner trim panel before dealing with the sliding door water deflector. Remove the sliding door latch screws and take out the latch before unhooking the latch/lock rod from its position. Follow the fastener notice before you install the latch onto the sliding door by performing the screw installation in sequence and tightening each screw to 10 N.m (89 lb in). The procedure requires proper insertion of the rear latch lock rod into the latch rod insulator before putting back the sliding door water deflector and the inner trim panel. The PSD 15A fuse should be reinstalled to the instrument panel fuse block to restore low current logic power after which both power sliding doors will operate while the modules require training to remember complete open and closed positions.
